Meet the Co-Founders
After graduating from Vancouver Film School, Drew Cohoe moved to Toronto to begin his career in film and television. His experience in production spans across several major studios, including HBO, CBC, Disney and Netflix.
Briar Latam is a seasoned marketing professional with many years of experience working both agency-side and in-house for brands.
In response to the SAAG/AFTRA strikes in 2023, Drew branched out into the non-union film world. At the same time, Briar was consulting for marketing agencies and brands as a fractional CMO, and began to identify a gap in the traditional commercial video production process. This ultimately led to the creation of Huge News Inc. and our flagship offer: 1 day shoot, 90+ days of content.
The team at Huge News wishes to acknowledge the land on which we are headquartered. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, it is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
